Just like you see it. Nowadays is easier and easier to create quality music and beats from the comfort of our laptop. Girl talk show us a way to create a mashup from a sample (Elvis Costello’s Radio)

I believe the software that he uses is Adobe Audition and AudioMulch.

I personally use Sony Acid Pro for my mashups. Some people have told me that the quality on Sony Acid is not that good, but I’m not sure.

It is really not that hard to create a mashup. Think of it as a puzzle, layering sound and testing different combinations. The main thing to notice is to keep every sound at the same speed.. beatmatching… which the software will make it easy for you to do almost automatically.
