Mannie fresh mac dvd you know what I’m saying?
Whatsup, good bro, the whole reason we are doing a hip hop right now.
So how long have you been at it with this production thing? Ohh, since the 70s. Nah, My first record I think it was in 88. First time I was at production was in 1988. Before that I was dj’ing, so put that together.
So what you use to put your shit together man?
Sp 1200, MPC every now and then. Various keyboards, I don’t really have anything that I stick to. I knida do my thing from Older keyboards, vintage keyboards to new ones. Whatever works, put it like that.
So on average how long does it take you to put a track together?
30 minute to an hour and we are done.
So you are not longer with cash money man, what’s going on? Just me myself and I now, doing big things you know?
What was the reason why you left cash money? Dinero, president, scratch, etc. BG Turf and juvenile had issues with money, royalties and getting paid. Did that have anything to do with your decision to break out.
I mean, I’m patient.. they are younger than me. It’s like this: I move on when something ain’t right, you now? And I get along with them, so be it.
So my reason, mainly, it wasn’t right so I had to move on and do my thing.
So how’s your relationship now with like “baby slim” wayne. I don’t hate no body man, I still look at them like brothers, but I had to move on.
On Wayne’s latest project you wasn’t on it, you think that had anything to do with leaving cash money? I mean, they actually had tracks from me and I wasn’t paid. So, I need to get that back.
