Make Your Own Beats

Are you familiar with Sony Acid Pro music pro? It’s a really cool music software.. not exactly to “make beats” but it works more as a music layering software. If it makes sense. Basically you just add layers of music (mp3, wavs, etc) to create your own track. Or to make a long music mix. I use it to make CD mixes and also to make my own hip hop tracks. How?

Let’s say you have a beat making software like Sonic Producer or Fruity Loops where you make your own beat. You can make a bunch of neat variations and save them as Mp3. Then on Sony Acid you layer the beats however you want and even add vocals if you choose to.
