Two guys that performed for us last show. We were so impressed how they used Korg, so the first thing we did was to get these Maschine and these hardware in their hands. We really loved what came out with these. They are producers working with Nelly Furtado, Toto, etc. Top artists from around the world.

I’m Kenny and this is Joel. We are going to show you some of the things we can do in just four minutes then we’ll moe onto production. He’s just playing with a loop pthat comes standard with this “Maschine” as he said, there’s over 14,000 sounds stocked.
You can do everything from the control. You can quantize, program, you can change sound, you can load things in.

With 14,0000 sounds, how do you find them quickly? This browser has filters on it, so you can say: Hey I want an 808 bdrum I want a sample drum, I want a final drum… you can find it in seconds. Now only can you find it quickly, once you program like this you really don’t wanna miss the beat (that’s how we were) you just wanna keep going.

You can start loading sounds in real time and previewing it while its playing. We don’t hae to stop it. It won’t glitch. For example if you just wanna go and change that snare sample you can get started looking thru the sound right now in your mpc browser.

Synths

Ok, so I’m going to throw some synths down over top so it’s not just about drums.
All these sounds come actually from the Maschine. You can import it from the Mascine or from an external keyboard. This thing is phenomenal.

Right now he is playing with the parameters so now only do you have the sound, but you have control over the sound. So you got filters, you got velocity curves, aplitude, all of these from the Mascine, you don’t have to stop the mascine for anything.
All of it is fully available from the Mascine. So he just automated a filter without stopping the Mascine. You can also organize your music from the console. It reall is the ultimate production tool.

We made a couple of tracks within a week and a half since we’ve had these Mascine. No manuals or anything, it’s very intuitie. We are going to jam a little bit with it. You can change everything on the fly. You never need to stop.

This is something we did that shows you a bunch of sequences. Every sound is coming from this. All these sounds are stocked in the Mascine hardware.
